Waubonsee Honors Program Sets Students Up For Success

Waubonsee Community College launched its Honors Program in the 1986-1987 academic year. At that time, the program offered high-ability students the opportunity to register for honors course sections in English, Sociology and Communications. In the 2016-2017 academic year, Elmhurst College added to the prestige of the Waubonsee Honors Program by providing one Honors Program Graduate a scholarship to continue their education at Elmhurst.

The first recipient of the Elmhurst College Honors Program Scholarship was Lorena Gonzalez of Aurora.

Waubonsee Hosts Aurora Downtown Career Fair

Waubonsee Community College will host a career fair on Wednesday, Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. to noon in Aurora. The event is free and open to the public.
