Very soon my small office of bookshelves and an oversized desk was flooded with six students whom I had been working with day and night, seven days a week, for the previous two months. They each showed their excitement differently...

Then, I reached my hand into a cardboard box and revealed a book, their book, our book.

Waubonsee Community College announces its 2019 Distinguished Contributor and Distinguished Alumnus. Dr. Gina Santori is this year’s Distinguished Contributor. Aurora Police Chief Kristen Ziman is this year’s Distinguished Alumnus.

Beginning in the fall of 2019, Waubonsee Community College will offer a program that prepares students for the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH) certification as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor.

Waubonsee Community College will host events and activities from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 3 as part of First Fridays in downtown Aurora.
