On April 1, 2025, three (3) individuals will be elected to the Board of Trustees of Waubonsee Community College, Community College District 516. Two (2) seats are for full six-year terms, and one (1) is for a four-year term.

Tuesday, August 20, 2024
First day to circulate petitions for candidates seeking election in the 2025 Consolidated Election.
Tuesday, November 12, 2024
First day to file nomination petitions with the local election official. Documents must contain original sheets signed by voters and circulators. The office of the Interim Vice President of Finance and Administration (local election official) is responsible for handling the election activities for the college.
Note: All petitions filed by persons waiting in line as of 8 a.m. or petitions filed by mail and received after midnight on the first day of filing and delivered in the first mail delivery are deemed simultaneously filed. All petitions filed thereafter shall be filed in order of actual receipt. This order determines ballot position. A random selection of the order of filing of simultaneously filed petitions (lottery) shall be made within nine days following the last day for filing the petitions. Candidates must receive written notice of time and place of lottery at least seven days prior to the lottery.
Monday, November 18, 2024
Last day to file nomination petitions with the local election official for the 2025 Consolidated Election.
Last day for filing a Statement of Economic Interest with the county clerk as required by the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act. The receipt must be filed on or before this date with the local election official who received the nomination papers.
Wednesday, November 20, 2024
If necessary, the lottery for the April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 4 p.m.
Monday, November 25, 2024
Last day for filing objections to nomination papers for any candidate in the office of the local election official.
