We take extraordinary precautions with the information you share with us, even if it’s only an update to your address. Your academic and personal information is protected at all times. Please contact our office with any questions or concerns about our policies or process.
Updating Your Information
If you need to update your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or other information in our records, complete and submit the Student Information Change Form.
Preferred/Chosen Name
Students have the option to provide a preferred/chosen name using the Student Information Change Form, which will be recorded in the Student Information System. This name will appear in the following locations:
- Canvas (Learning Management System) - Effective summer 2020
- mywcc
As more locations are added this list will be updated.
Your legal name will always appear on your official transcript and financial documents, including the 1098-T.
