*Waubonsee processes checks electronically. When you provide a check as payment, you authorize the college to use information from your check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account. Be aware there will be a $25 fee for any insufficient funds/declined checks. If you have a question, please contact the Student Accounts and Cashier Office.
Authorized Users
If you wish to have your parents, employers or other third party make a payment on your account, you must first set them up as an authorized user on the student account suite through mywcc. The assignment does not give the authorized user the ability to access the student's confidential academic history.
Non-Payment
Waubonsee cancels registration if students do not make one of the following payment arrangements within a week of registration:
- Make a payment in full (required if total charges are less than $200 or when a payment plan is no longer available)
- Enroll in a payment plan
- Have a verified source on their account
If your course begins before your payment arrangement due date and you do not plan to attend, you will not be dropped automatically. You will be held responsible for course fees unless you drop yourself from the course(s) by the last day to drop with refund.
Students withdrawn for non-payment after the first day of class must petition to re-enroll in that course. A re-enrollment fee plus a minimum of one-half of the tuition is due when re-registering. Students who are repeatedly withdrawn for non-payment may be prevented from registering for additional courses.
You must officially withdraw from each course you do not plan to attend. Unpaid fees will prevent registration for additional courses or receipt of grades, transcripts, or diploma/certificate and are subject to the collection procedures of the college. Check the Tuition Refunds page for Registration, Refund & Withdrawal due dates.
Waubonsee does not accept payment over the phone.
