Wherever you are in your journey at Waubonsee, it’s unique and our goal is to make it as smooth as possible for you. As you work towards your goals, it often gets easier from semester to semester, but we are still here to help you stay on track to reach your goals. Follow these helpful steps when you’re ready to register.
Prepare for Registration
Check if you have any holds on your account. A hold on a student record may prevent course registration.
To hold your spring 2025 semester course(s) and avoid being dropped for nonpayment, you must make a payment arrangement by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 6. Visit waubonsee.edu/pay to review payment plans and other options. At Waubonsee’s Bookstores, you can rent textbooks and/or pay books/materials off as part of a payment plan or through scholarships and/or grants.
The right technology can lead to greater success. Borrow a laptop, hotspot, webcam, or other equipment through servicedesk.waubonsee.edu or by calling the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) at (630) 466-4357.

Book an appointment with your academic advisor. They can help you with your academic plan, course selection, career and major, transfer or graduation planning, financial aid eligibility, and holds on your account.
Many people don't even bother to apply for financial aid as they think they make too much money to qualify. Well, Waubonsee doesn't want anyone to leave free money on the table, so we're introducing our Success Scholarship!
Eligible students who complete the financial aid application process may qualify for scholarship assistance to help pay for tuition, fees, and/or course materials. Awards may vary, see qualifiers for details.
I’ve registered. How do I find my books and schedule?
Go to mywcc.waubonsee.edu, click on “For Students” in the red, upper right-hand menu. Under Quick Actions, click on the black button that says, “Your Schedule and Books”.

Whether or not you submitted a FAFSA, you can contact the Financial Aid Office at (630) 466-5774 to get help with applying for financial aid or to find out the status of your application.
Want to get on a payment plan?
You must select a tuition payment arrangement within roughly 48 hours of registration (see exact timeline).

Account Statements
Account statements are based on the information contained in your student financial account. Your student account includes all Waubonsee charges and all payments, financial aid or other credits. Account Statements are issued electronically on monthly basis to your student email or via text if opted in through the Student Account Suite by logging into mywcc. These monthly notifications show all charges and payments that have occurred since the previous statement.
Non-Credit course account statements are mailed to your permanent mailing address weekly.
End of term account statements are mailed to your permanent mailing address at the end of the term.
Note: It is your responsibility to update your address with the college. An inaccurate address (local, permanent, or billing) may prevent or delay your receipt of critical and often time-sensitive materials.
Online Account Access
You can view your financial account information online 24/7 via mywcc. Monthly account statements can be accessed through the Student Account Suite>My Account>Statements section.
Please note: Although the Student Accounts and Cashier Office is responsible for maintaining the record of your student account and issuing account statements to you, it does not have the authority to make changes to the charges or awards on your account. The Student Accounts and Cashier Office can refer you to the appropriate office or department to direct your inquiry.
Receive your refunds faster with electronic direct deposit! Sign up by logging into mywcc and through the Student Account Suite>Refunds under My Profile Setup. Click on Set up Account. Fill out the form and save your account information. You must ensure you set up your account with a checking/savings account. The cost is free and you will receive your refund faster! Enroll today!
