Many people don't even bother to apply for financial aid as they think they make too much money to qualify. Well, Waubonsee doesn't want anyone to leave free money on the table, so we're introducing our Success Scholarship!

Eligible students who complete the financial aid application process may qualify for scholarship assistance to help pay for tuition, fees, and/or course materials. Awards may vary, see qualifiers for details.

“Waubonsee helped me because I always knew I wanted to attend college, but I never knew how I would be able to afford it.

I’ve had to go through a lot of rough patches to be here, but I’m so thankful that I came back to Waubonsee to finish what I started. I’ve received so many resources from Waubonsee.”

“I’m proud to be a first-generation Latina graduate of Waubonsee, but it didn’t come easy.

I didn’t let my health challenges, my academic struggles, my family responsibilities, or even paying for college stop me. I took a few years off and then I came back to Waubonsee and finished. You should too!”

“I came to Waubonsee straight out of high school. Then, I became a young mom. After I had my daughter, I gave up on my dream.

I never thought higher education was an option for me. After 11 years, I am back at Waubonsee and I’m finishing my degree. I have hope. I have more options for work and I believe in myself. You can too!”

“Waubonsee is the best decision ever. It saved me so much money when I faced a life emergency … After a really bad car accident, I had to take a break from my studies and focus on my recovery. I questioned if I should come back to continue my studies. I’m so glad I came back and finished what I started. Since graduating from Waubonsee, I was able to transfer to Columbia University and earn a degree in a field I love - marketing and communications.”
