Keep in mind that most credit courses are 3 credit hours each, which is how courses are calculated in the tool below. An $8 student fee is included in the estimated cost. Refer to the course schedule to determine the credit hours and any additional fees for a specific course.

Cooperative Agreements

Outgoing Agreement Requests

A resident of Waubonsee Community College, District 516, may be eligible to attend another community college at the in-district rate of tuition for a career degree or certificate that is not available at Waubonsee.  For more information please visit Cooperative Agreements.

Incoming Agreement Requests

A resident residing in another Illinois Community College district that does not offer a program of study that is available at Waubonsee Community College should request a Cooperative Agreement at their local community college.

If your agreement has been sent by your local college and you are checking the status, call Student Accounts and Cashier Office at (630) 466-5705.

Tuition and Fees for Noncredit Courses

Costs for noncredit courses offered by the Workforce Education department vary widely and are listed on the Professional Development page.

Adult Education offerings are free to eligible participants.

Senior Citizen Waiver

Senior citizens who are 65 years of age or older by the start of the term may be eligible for a full tuition waiver of in-district tuition for all regularly scheduled credit courses if they are under a specific income level as outlined in the Senior Citizen Courses Act (110 ILCS 990).* To apply for this waiver, senior citizens must complete this Senior Citizen Tuition Waiver 2024/2025 Application  and submit it to the Student Accounts and Cashier Office.
