Waubonsee Community College has partnered with the American Historical Association (AHA) to build a program that will better serve Waubonsee students.

Waubonsee Community College will participate in the Partnership for College Completion: Launch of the Illinois Equity in Attainment Initiative. The event will be held on Oct. 2 in Chicago.

In the 2016-2017 academic year, Elmhurst College added to the prestige of the Waubonsee Honors Program by providing one Honors Program Graduate a scholarship to continue their education at Elmhurst.

The first recipient of the Elmhurst College Honors Program Scholarship was Lorena Gonzalez of Aurora.
