Waubonsee Community College will participate in the Partnership for College Completion: Launch of the Illinois Equity in Attainment Initiative. The event will be held on Oct. 2 in Chicago.
The initiative brings together 23 Illinois colleges and universities that have made commitments to eliminate racial and socio-economic achievement gaps on their campuses by the year 2025. The findings of the Regional Outcomes Report will be shared with participants, which will examine college enrollment and completion and the impact of the Monetary Award Program on students in northeastern Illinois between 2008 and 2015.
