Studying Chemistry at Waubonsee

From Introduction to Chemistry to Organic Chemistry, our program offers a solid foundation in the courses you need to transfer into the bachelor's degree of your choice, or fulfill general education physical science requirements for your associate degree.

You’ll study in our modern, state-of-the-art labs and use sophisticated equipment normally reserved for junior and senior level courses at universities. Our outstanding faculty will support your work exploring scientific processes and experiments that train you to observe, hypothesize and test theories.

Working in Chemistry

Chemical sciences are required for a number of interesting careers—you might be interested in environmental testing or forensic science.
