Hartford Apprenticeship

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in The Hartford’s apprenticeship opportunity. This apprenticeship is not geared toward or aligned with any specific program of study. Therefore, any Waubonsee degree-seeking student is eligible to apply. Candidates need to be at least 18 and do not need to be a current Waubonsee student, but they would need to enroll in a Waubonsee degree program by their start date if hired as an apprentice. 

Apprentices begin in The Hartford’s Catastrophe Division, with an opportunity to move to other divisions as training progresses. Apprentices earn a wage plus benefits, while receiving on-the-job training and attending school to finish their degree. The Hartford pays for degree-related tuition and fees of those hired into their apprenticeship program (up to $5,250 per calendar year; additional specifications and guidelines apply). There are 10 apprentice openings, and there are many different pathways to move throughout the company upon graduating from the apprenticeship program. 

Below are the links for the information meetings being held on April 2, 3, and 4, 2025. The same information will be covered at each session, and there will be time for questions. Please come with any questions you have. These sessions will cover information about The Hartford’s Catastrophe Division Apprenticeship and will be held via Zoom. Please register in advance for whichever session(s) you’d like using the links below for the appropriate date. You may need to ensure you've downloaded and can access Zoom prior to the session.

If you would like to attend a session but are unable to, please reach out to apprentice@thehartford.com. Let them know you are (or will be) a Waubonsee student and are interested in the apprenticeship opportunities but are unable to attend an information session.
