This course provides an integration of the theory and research regarding the developmental processes across the adult lifespan. Discussed are the aging and adulthood developmental psychological content domains which focus on the changes that occur from early adulthood through the last stages of life including: career choice and development; mate selection and marriage; conventional and non-conventional families; theories of adult personality development; mid and late-life transitions; aging; and dying, death and bereavement. Adulthood and aging is examined with regards to scientific research and the application of ethical standards in psychology. Recommended Prereq, PSY100 or consent of instructor
