This course provides an overview of the role of the paralegal in the litigation process. Students will learn to draft correspondence and pleadings for civil ligation cases utilizing both the federal and state rules of civil procedure. Recommended Coreq, PLG100

"A blend of face-to-face class meetings in a traditional classroom and asynchronously online. Required face-to-face class meetings are: Thursdays 6:30 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. Scheduled on campus days: 08/29, 09/12, 09/26, 10/10, 10/24, 11/07, 11/21, 12/12. Students can register for both courses that are scheduled at the same day and time as they meet face-to-face on opposite weeks. This course is utilizing Open Educational Resources (OER). No textbook purchase is required and there will be no cost for course materials."
