This online course covers the fundamental elements of facility safety and will familiarize students with Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. Topics that will be covered include Emergency Action Plans, Machine Guarding, The Control of Hazardous Energy, Chemical Safety, Electrical Safety, and Personal Protective Equipment. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive the OSHA 10 General Industry certification. Offered in partnership with CareerSafe. Offered in partnership with ed2go.
