This online course covers the fundamental elements of facility safety and will familiarize students with Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. This OSHA 10-Hour General Industry course provides training for entry-level workers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces, as well as information regarding workers' rights and employer responsibilities. This OSHA training helps to ensure that workers have the knowledge they need to stay safe on the job. Students who successfully complete the CareerSafe OSHA 10-Hour General Industry course receive a US Department of Labor OSHA 10-Hour General Industry card. Offered in partnership with CareerSafe. The instructional materials required for this course are included in enrollment and instructions on how to access online course will be provided through Canvas.
