This course introduces students to the chemistry of biologically active molecules including sugars, proteins, amino acids and nucleic acids. In addition, metabolic pathways of carbohydrates and fats are discussed as well as molecular genetics and respiration. Prereq, C or better in CHM102 or CHM231
