This introduction to the basic concepts of general chemistry includes molecular description of matter, chemical reactions, and calculations to solve basic chemistry problems.
Note: Students enrolling in CHM100 are not required to enroll in CHM101 (lab). However, those students needing a 4 semester-hour lab science for transfer purposes may wish to concurrently enroll in CHM100 and CHM101. This course is not intended for majors in the physical sciences, students with previous chemistry or students with credit in CHM121. Prereq, C or better in MTH066 or MTH068, and C or better in ENG085 or ENG095 or placement by appropriate measures
