This introductory course consists of statistical methods applied in the business environment. Topics include: the collection and presentation of data, measures of central tendency, dispersion, probability, sampling theory, correlation and regression. Students are introduced to at least one computer software package for statistical analysis. Prereq, C or better in MTH069 or MTH072 or placement by appropriate measures.
