The Fox Country Players, in partnership with Waubonsee Community College’s Community Education department, are bringing “Rumors” to the college’s Auditorium stage.
The show runs April 7 and 8 at 7 p.m. and April 9 at 2 p.m. Waubonsee’s Auditorium is located on the college’s Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive. Tickets for this classic comedic farce are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors and can be purchased at www.waubonseetickets.com.
Written by Neil Simon, the play follows the confusion and miscommunications that unfold after the Deputy Mayor of New York accidently shoots himself. Although only a flesh wound, four couples dealing with the aftermath quickly spiral into hilarity.
