The Waubonsee Community College Board of Trustees appointed James Sibley, of Mokena, to the position of Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at their meeting Nov. 20. Sibley will begin his duties on Dec. 11.
Sibley brings more than 25 years of communications experience to the role, having most recently worked as the Director of Public Relations at Palos Community Hospital. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Communications of Consolidated High School District 230 in Orland Park.
Sibley holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Illinois State University and a master’s degree in communication from Northwestern University.
