Just as social media channels connect friends and family across the globe, so too can they connect businesses and organizations with customers. Local professionals can learn all the digital strategies and tactics needed to grow their careers and businesses with Waubonsee Community College’s new Social Media Marketing Specialist Certificate program.
A special informational open house about the program will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, in room 257 of Waubonsee’s downtown Aurora Campus, 18 S. River St. No registration is required for this free event.
Able to be completed in just three months, the Social Media Marketing Specialist Certificate program is made up of four courses that can also be taken individually: Social Media Marketing and Interactive Content, Social Media Platforms for Business, Social Media Management, and Social Media Marketing Portfolio Workshop. Courses will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning Sept. 16 at the college’s Sugar Grove Campus. The cost of the program is $1,995.
