Billy Clem
Billy Clem, Associate Professor of English at Waubonsee Community College, has published a short story in the free online publication, Counterexample Poetics.
Titled “At the Bluff,” Clem’s submission in the “Flash Fiction” category offers a brief glimpse into the moment Clem’s protagonist, known only as Joey, for the first time defies his brothers and refuses to perform any more dives into a river from the top of a bluff in the Ozark Mountains.
