David Voorhees
David Voorhees, Associate Professor of Earth Science/Geology at Waubonsee Community College, served as the lead author in an article published in Foundations, the monthly newsletter of the Geo2YC Division of the National Association of Geoscience Teachers.
In the article, titled “Report on ‘Summit of the Future of Geoscience Education,’” Voorhees, along with co-authors Lynsey LeMay of Thomas Nelson Community College and Kaatje Kraft of Mesa Community College, shares impressions of the summit gathering sponsored by the National Science Foundation and hosted at the University of Texas at Austin.
