Waubonsee Community College again will offer an abundance of live concerts this spring – and no tickets will be required.

From April 25 - May 18, Waubonsee will host a series of six live spring musical performances in an assortment of musical genres. All shows will be free and open to the public, and will be performed on Waubonsee’s Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive.

On Friday, April 25, the Waubonsee Rock Band will begin the series with a show at 7:30 p.m. in the Waubonsee Auditorium.

On Sunday, April 27, at 2 p.m., the Jubilee Jazz Saxophone Quartet will perform in Von Ohlen Hall, Room 114.

The Waubonsee Chorale and Concert Band will take the stage on Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m. in the Waubonsee Auditorium.

On Friday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m., the Waubonsee Jazz Ensemble will present its spring concert, in the Waubonsee Auditorium, and the Waubonsee Steel Band will follow with its show on Saturday, May 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium.

A General Student Recital will cap off the weeks of free music on Sunday, May 18, at 3 p.m. in Von Ohlen Hall, Room 114.
