At its May 20 meeting, the Waubonsee Community College Board of Trustees approved two additions to the college's already strong Automotive Technology Program offerings.
The 60-hour Automotive Transportation Service Technology Associate in Applied Science Degree is designed for those students seeking employment in the service management, parts management or alternative fuel technology aspects of the industry. The 14-hour Light Duty Diesel Repair Certificate of Achievement is meant to further expand the skill and knowledge base of those students looking to become automotive technicians.
Both programs will debut this fall.
