One of the many attractions to Waubonsee Community College is that Sugar Grove campus is nestled within the Kane County Forest Preserve offering sitting within a 243-acre tract of land that is surrounded by unique forestry as well as natural and native prairie landscapes and offers a 2-mile mowed trail within the campus.
Our Sugar Grove campus also serves as a trail head for the Virgil L. Gilman trail, which is a mixed-terrain trail that connects from the campus grounds through Bliss Woods Forest Preserve, Hannaford Woods-Nickels Farm Preserve, downtown Aurora, and beyond.
