Transitioning to college
You know that college life will be quite different from high school. It's not just whether you live on your own or continue to reside with other family members. The complete academic experience will be new — how your classes are structured, your engagement inside and out of the classroom, the kinds of resources you have access to, even the overall college environment. You'll have different responsibilities, and your instructors and advisors will have different expectations of you. Understanding these differences is one of the important keys to a successful transition.
