Chiefs vs. Panthers at Northwestern Field - April 27
Calling all minor league fans! Celebrate spring baseball season with the Waubonsee community to cheer on your Chiefs as they battle the Morton College Panthers at Northwestern Field, the home of the Kane County Cougars. This conference game is complimentary and open to the public - bring your family, friends and kids to enjoy the game.
Between-inning entertainment featuring Waubonsee student-athletes and cheer team:

FREE Wellness Event: Crafting Conversations
Wednesday, April 30, 2025 - 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Waubonsee students and staff are invited to join Lifelong Learning Institute members for interactive presentations on mental health, physical wellness, and sexual violence prevention. Enjoy light refreshments and take home a vase craft!

Spring 2025 Book to Movie: The Color Purple

Celebrate literature and habitual exploration of the great works that affect our culture. Study how the books and movies speak to different cultural or social themes in our environment. All in-district community members aged 16+ are welcome to participate.
Participants can pick up the book at Waubonsee’s library, their local library or purchase copy at the Waubonsee College Bookstore for 10% off list price. If you need help with obtaining a copy of the book, please contact Waubonsee's Library.
RSVP for the film screening at 1 p.m. in the Sugar Grove Campus Academic and Professional Center Room 120. Listen to a Waubonsee student pianist from 12:30 - 1 p.m. before the film screening.
Enjoy free snacks during the movie and stay for the best part - discussing the book’s and movie’s impact on our lives or culture from 4-5 p.m. with a dessert bar.
