

Waubonsee Community College invites music lovers to experience a variety of jazz styles and compositions at its 3rd Annual Day of Jazz, a free full day of jazz performances featuring students, faculty and guest musicians. The event will take place on Saturday, March 1 from 1 to 9 p.m. at the college’s Sugar Grove Campus Auditorium.
This year’s lineup will feature live music performed by Waubonsee students and faculty, as well as Elmhurst University Jazz Ensemble members, professional musicians and the Matt Muneses Trio. The performance schedule is as follows:
- Waubonsee Jazz Combo - 1 to 1:45 p.m.
- Waubonsee Jazz Ensemble - 2 to 2:45 p.m.
- Waubonsee Jazz Combo - 3 to 3:45 p.m.
- Matt Muneses Trio - 3:45 to 5 p.m.
- Mike Schwebke CariJazz with guest performer Juan Pastor - 5 to 6:15 p.m.
- Elmhurst University Jazz Ensemble - 7:30 to 9 p.m.
