The philosophy and functions of human and financial resource management within the health care setting is examined. Emphasis is placed on planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and controlling, theories of decision making, problem solving, motivation, leadership and communication, in addition to quality and performance improvement, budgeting, the revenue cycle, work processes and goal setting. Prereq, C or better in HIT101
