Sugar Grove – Prospective students and their parents/guardians are invited to learn more about the many advantages of attending Waubonsee Community College during a series of virtual events that will run Wednesday, March 31 through Monday, May 3.

The weekly “Waubonsee Wednesday” events will focus on the college’s affordability, transferability, flexibility, and support.

Each “Major Monday” event will feature a specific major and career, including many that have been identified as “Hot Careers,” due to high demand, high salaries, and projected job growth. Nursing, Business, and Engineering are among the programs that will be discussed. Participants will also have the opportunity to virtually tour facilities, see labs and equipment in use, and meet faculty. That series kicks off on Monday, April 5, with a session that explains how to choose a major.

Presented by Waubonsee’s financial aid experts, admissions team, and faculty, these free virtual sessions begin at 6:30 p.m. An RSVP is required to receive the Zoom link. Visit www.waubonsee.edu/visit to view the full list of events and to RSVP.
