Sugar Grove – Two Waubonsee Community College adjunct faculty members have been selected as Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Members for 2021.
Dr. Andres Campos is an instructor in the college’s Mathematics and Sciences Division and is recognized for his teaching excellence in the college’s biology program. Dr. Campos has also served as a dual credit instructor with one of our local high schools.
Jennifer Siegfried is an instructor in the college’s Adult Education Division and is recognized for her teaching excellence in the college’s noncredit programs. In addition to her work in the classroom, Siegfried serves on the Adult Ed ELA curriculum development team and has facilitated annual professional development days for her faculty colleagues.
Adjunct faculty members are nominated for this recognition by their division leadership for their demonstration of quality instruction, commitment to student success, and their contributions to the credit and noncredit divisions. Campos and Siegfried were recognized during the spring faculty orientation on January 15.
