Waubonsee Community College’s Plano Campus has been renovated and is prepared to reopen for classroom and lab instruction for the start of the 2020-2021 academic year.

The Plano Campus closed in December 2019 for a planned renovation. The campus will reopen as the college’s Innovation and Design Center. It will be home to Waubonsee’s new Cybersecurity Program and the college’s existing Welding Program and Computer Aided Design and Drafting Program. Other classes will be available at that campus, as well.

The college will continue to offer in-person courses at the Plano Campus as one of five learning modalities that have been designed for students to choose from. All in-person classes will adhere to social distancing guidelines. In addition to these guidelines, the college has implemented enhanced cleaning procedures throughout all four of its campuses.
