Fifty-five percent of people over 50 years old have low bone density. This puts them at greater risk for hip fractures. Waubonsee Community College is presenting a free workshop that offers research about and tips on how to prevent osteoporosis.

This workshop will introduce participants to yoga and weight-bearing interventions to build strong bones. Participants will also learn how to prevent falls and fractures through improving strength, flexibility and balance.
