Waubonsee Community College welcomes three new full-time faculty members for the coming academic year.

Brandon Blagg joins the faculty as an Instructor of Manufacturing Technology. Blagg holds a Machining Certificate and a Programming Certificate from Mazak Corporation, as well as a CAD/CAM Certificate of Achievement from DP Technology Corporation. He has served as an Adjunct Instructor at Waubonsee and he also has experience working at Hy-Tek Manufacturing Company and at MTH Tool Company.

Jason Chatman joins the faculty as an Instructor of Sociology. Chatman holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master’s degree in sociology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He has served as a Sociology Instructor at Midlands Technical College and an Adjunct Sociology Instructor at Aiken Technical College.

Jon Nichols joins the faculty as an Instructor of English. Nichols holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Saint Joseph’s College and a master’s degree in writing from DePaul University. He has served as an Adjunct Instructor of English at Waubonsee, as a writing specialist at Aurora University and as an Assistant Professor of English at St. Joseph’s College.
