Mary Greenwood, Director of Student Financial Aid Services
Waubonsee Community College welcomes Mary Greenwood to the position of Director of Student Financial Aid Services.
Greenwood has "grown up" in financial aid with 17 years' experience from multiple sectors including public, private, and proprietary higher education sectors. Most recently, Greenwood was employed as the Director of Financial Services at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Prior to that, she was employed in a variety of roles with Adtalem Global Education, Career Education Corporation, The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, Roosevelt University, St. John's College of Nursing, and the University of Illinois at Springfield. Greenwood has served as a department of one and has supervised a team of more than 20 individuals.
Greenwood holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Management from Blackburn College.
Waubonsee’s board of trustees approved Greenwood’s appointment at their regularly scheduled meeting on March 20 and she assumed the duties of this position on March 14.
