Dr. Dan McDonnell, Director of School District Partnerships
Waubonsee Community College welcomes Dr. Dan McDonnell, of Morris, to the position of Director of School District Partnerships.
“Having previously worked with Waubonsee Community College for dual credit math courses, I was attracted to the college because of the friendly and professional culture I experienced in that transition,” said Dr. McDonnell. “I look forward to increasing our partnerships with the local high schools to benefit students and families as well as demonstrate all that Waubonsee can offer.”
Before joining Waubonsee, Dr. McDonnell was employed at Plainfield Community School District 202 as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for 11 years. Dr. McDonnell also served as Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction at Minooka Community High School for four years.
Dr. McDonnell holds a Doctorate of Educational Leadership and Administration from DePaul University, a Master of Education in Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Illinois State University. Dr. McDonnell holds a current Illinois Chief School Business Official (CSBO) endorsement.
