John Bryant, Assistant Vice President of Finance
Waubonsee Community College welcomes John Bryant, of Morris, to the position of Assistant Vice President of Finance.
Bryant says he is excited to join Waubonsee and has been impressed with staff across all four campuses. “This is such a welcoming community,” said Bryant. “I look forward to contributing to Waubonsee’s continued success and meeting the needs of the students.”
Bryant brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education institutions. Before joining Waubonsee, Bryant served as the University Controller/Chief Business Officer at Aurora University. Prior to that, he was employed at Illinois Wesleyan University as the Assistant Vice President and Controller for 17 years. He started his career in higher education as a Treasury Support Analyst at Bradley University and served there for five years.
Bryant holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
