Waubonsee Community College, in partnership with Ladder Up, will provide free tax preparation services at the college’s Aurora Downtown Campus, located at 18 S. River Street. These services are available to the community on Saturdays, Jan. 25 through April 12, from 9 a.m. to noon on a walk-in basis only, and the site will close when capacity is reached.
At these sessions, trained volunteer tax preparers will assist participants by preparing and electronically filing federal and state income tax returns at no cost. This service is only available to households earning up to $67,000 or individuals earning up to $35,000 annually.
