Waubonsee Community College will host a scientific presentation, “Paleoclimatology: What’s Past May Not Be Prologue.”
Dr. Reed Scherer, Board of Trustees Professor, Distinguished Research Professor, Geology and Environmental Geosciences at Northern Illinois University, will discuss the role of paleoclimate records and state-of-the-art models in understanding the present-day climate, as well as forecasting future climate.
The presentation will be held on Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium at the Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive. The presentation is free and open to the public. Reservations are requested and can be made by calling the Community Education office at (630) 466-2360.
