Waubonsee's Aurora Downtown Campus
Waubonsee Community College will host an open house event at its Aurora Downtown Campus on Saturday, March 3 from 1 to 4 p.m. The event is family-friendly, free and open to the public.
Waubonsee faculty members, administrators and staff will be available to discuss programs, resources, financial assistance and student clubs and activities.
In addition to general education courses and transfer programs, the Aurora Downtown Campus houses several of Waubonsee’s academic and career programs. Some of these are Health Information Technology, Interpreter Training and Sign Language, Legal Interpreting, Nurse Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician.
In addition to the information about Waubonsee’s academic classes, programs and resources, there will be giveaways and refreshments at the open house while supplies last. Also, everyone attending the open house can enter a drawing to win four tickets to a Chicago Steel hockey game and get photos taken with Rusty, the Steel’s mascot, from 1 to 2 p.m.
