Waubonsee Community College will host a Veterans Day Observance at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the Academic and Professional Center on its Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive. The event is free and open to the public.
The college’s student veterans and music department will play roles in the observance, along with members of the American Legion Post 1271 of Sugar Grove. The ceremony’s featured speaker will be World War II veteran Art Sheridan, of Aurora.
