Waubonsee Community College will host its second annual State of the College event on Tuesday, Sept. 24 in the Academic and Professional Center on its Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive. Breakfast and networking will start at 7:30 a.m., with the program beginning at 8 a.m. All are welcome to this free event.
Waubonsee President Dr. Brian Knetl will provide updates about the exciting work underway at the college, including progress on the strategic plan, the college’s work in the community, and progress on the new Technical Education Center.
“Waubonsee is the community’s college, and this will be the community’s plan,” Dr. Knetl said. “We have solicited input from a variety of audiences and industries and are looking forward to sharing the themes that have emerged. We understand that it takes all of us working together to continue to help students succeed and communities thrive.”
