Fox Country Players and director, Patrick Stinson, announce upcoming auditions for performers and understudies for the rock musical Next to Normal.
Auditions will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, February 20 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Waubonsee Community College Auditorium on the Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 and Waubonsee Drive.
Performance dates are April 15-17.
Next to Normal is a contemporary show that calls for great singers and actors. It also deals with depression and other timely mental issues that are challenging for actors.
Those interested in auditioning should:
• Schedule an appointment by emailing n2nauditions@gmail.com, (indicate preference of Thursday or Saturday);
• Prepare a 16 bar snippet of a song from any show (please bring sheet music for the accompanist).
• You may also be asked to do a cold reading from the script or sing from the show.
