College Night

Waubonsee Community College will host College Night on Monday, Oct. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. on its Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive, in the Academic and Professional Center. This event is open to the public.

Waubonsee’s annual College Night is a free event designed for students, parents, and community residents who are navigating the college selection process. This informative evening will feature representatives from over 125 U.S. public and private colleges and universities. Whether you’re considering transfer opportunities, looking to start your college journey, or just gathering information, College Night is the perfect opportunity to get the answers and guidance you need. This year, participants can make the most of College Night by registering for free pre-event bonus sessions including:

  • Design the Future: CAD/Engineering Demos and Info – Drop in between 5 and 6 p.m. to meet faculty, check out the new state-of-the-art equipment and learn about Waubonsee’s university partnerships.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing vs. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Learn how to save time and money on your degree. Attend this session from 5:30 to 6 p.m. and get your questions answered.
  • Waubonsee Campus Tour – While you’re on campus for the event, take a tour! Join Waubonsee’s Admissions team for a guided tour that begins at 5 p.m.

There will also be free workshops on popular topics such as choosing a major, financial aid overview, and helpful advice for choosing a college.
