Waubonsee Community College is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Horizons, an annual, literary magazine designed by students in Waubonsee’s Creative Writing Club.
The publication is a blend of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and drama, showcasing the written, visual, and musical work of Waubonsee students. It provides students and artists an opportunity to have their work published professionally, and how to master the art of collaboration across disciplines. Each cover of the 2021 issue represents the duality of living, learning, and working through the pandemic. One cover represents the darkness of these times and the other represents the resolve to move forward into a new and brighter world.
