Angela Nwalie
The Waubonsee Community College Board of Trustees seated Angela Nwalie to serve as the student trustee for the 2019-2020 academic year.
The student trustee was chosen by the Student Senate and serves as the liaison between the Board of Trustees and the college’s student body, representing student interests at the board level. Nwalie was seated at the board’s regularly scheduled meeting on May 15.
Nwalie is from Montgomery, is married and has three sons. She is a nursing student at Waubonsee and plans to become a registered nurse.
“I have had a positive learning experience at Waubonsee; therefore, I feel very privileged to be part of a team that continues to create an enriching learning environment,” she said.
