Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Waubonsee Community College faculty members will present “The Many Aspects of Love,” as part of the continuing Asset Earth series.
The event is free and open to the public, and will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11 at the Sugar Grove Campus Auditorium, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive.
The presentation will be given by Waubonsee faculty members Dr. Nancy Christensen, Assistant Professor of Chemistry; Sowjanya Dharmasankar, Assistant Professor of Economics; Dr. Heather LaCost, Associate Professor of Psychology; and Dr. Sheela Vemu, Instructor of Biology.
Christensen said the program will cover the psychology, biology, chemistry and economics of love, exploring how love affects the many aspects of our lives.
Asset Earth is a series of presentations by scientific experts on current scientific thought and events. The topics and speakers are selected to present ideas and concepts about our planet in an entertaining manner. Registration for these events is not necessary.
