Art works by Cynthia Perez, a Waubonsee Community College art student and Assistant Professor of Health Care Interpreting, were selected for inclusion in an art exhibition at the BeHuman Gallery in Houston, Texas.

Titled BeU, the photographic exhibition showcased fine art and experimental photography genres from U.S. and international artists.

The exhibition ran from March 21 to April 3 and was displayed as part of the 2014 FOTOFEST Biennial.

Perez, who creates and displays her work under the name Cynthia Kannan, contributed her works titled, “It Can’t Rain All the Time” and “The Ringmaster’s Quest.”

The works will also be displayed from April 21 to May 11 as part of Waubonsee’s Spring 2014 Skyway Selections student art exhibition in the Arrowhead Room of Dickson Center on Waubonsee’s Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive.
