Waubonsee Community College announced the names of the student government for the current academic year. The members of Waubonsee’s 2024-2025 student government are:
Ashley Hatcher, of Oswego, Student Trustee; Mark Price, of Batavia, Student Senate President; and Student Senators:

- Alex King, of Oswego
- Luke Lockwood, of Oswego
- Sofia Montano, of Aurora
- Savannah Pearson Fitzsimons, of Aurora
- Audrie Schaubel, of Sugar Grove
- Ronja Schmitz-Wiencke, of Montgomery
- Ryan Vagnoni, of Aurora
The student government provides leadership opportunities for students, as well as a channel of communication between college administrators and the student body. The student government leaders were introduced to the college’s board of trustees at its October meeting.
