During the fall 2014 semester, Waubonsee Community College purchased eight pieces of student-created artwork to display around its campuses. Through its Student Art Purchase Program, which started in fall 2006, the college has acquired almost 200 pieces of original artwork.
This semester’s works came from Ashley Hoffman, of Sandwich; Anna Lopatin, of Sugar Grove; Amanda Meyer, of Elburn; Casey Rose, of Maple Park; Barb Sanders, of Hinckley; and Lara Popowitch, Irineo Rodriguez and Ryan Werrline, of Aurora.
